There were many candidates for the award, but Turner showed why he's got all of those goals with a great display. His ability to find space in the area was especially impressive.Trek wrote:Jason Turner.Mat.H wrote:Did anyone get man of the match
We've already seen the importance of having a squad like we have, and with the trip to Harrow to play Hendon coinciding with Jack Ashton's suspension and the likelihood of other players being unavailable due to injuries and other commitments, we may still struggle to fill the 7-man bench for an FA Cup game.

Hendon are another fan owned club so no doubt an opportunity to pick up some tips.

Shame no bets placed as even predicted the correct score. Didn`t think Bedford could perform as well as they did Sat again & expected us to be much better, both happened which opened up a large gulf between the teams which even excessive passion from Bully was never going to bridge. Once Neil King was stopped from playing they had little/nothing to offer and IMO the 3-0 scoreline flattered them. Impressive performance all round especially from the front 2, they have it appears developed a good understanding while sitting next to each other on the bench during the first few games.
Understand Bully was in a bit of strop  admire the Man for his passion, commitment and ability to get the very best out of average players, but no disrespect was ever shown to Bedford by anyone. Was it not Bully who was almost on the center circle & in the faces of our bench celebrating on Sat, spent more time on the pitch than Parky did, and was sending a sub out to run in front of and disrupt a long throw late on.
Come on Bully, you had your chance to beat us on Sat and once you had let that slip the was only one possible result, well beaten by a much better side so take it on the chin and move on.
Nice to see unlike some places we have been in cup games, Bedford were in possession of a fully operational abacus & we were given an accurate attendance figure.
Last 2 seasons we have in the most known our starting 11 and any major changes from that has caused problems, that does not appear to be the case now, lots of options within a very strong squad can only be good news, though possibly a few headaches for Peaksy over the coming months.

I did notice Bully was not in the bar after but neither was half of their players.

Well said Brownie,
I resisted commenting on Bully Adams antics on Saturday given there was still a replay to come, but he clearly overstepped the mark with his goal celebration, running onto the pitch in front of our bench to taunt them rather than celebrate with his players.
He was getting a lot of stick from Bedford's own fans in the spider lair behind the dugouts which won't have helped his mood, but he should accept a convincing defeat with some grace.

He also demonstrated total lack of respect when leaving the pitch on Saturday whilst Bruce was interviewing Liam for AFCRD.Formic wrote: I resisted commenting on Bully Adams antics on Saturday given there was still a replay to come, but he clearly overstepped the mark with his goal celebration, running onto the pitch in front of our bench to taunt them rather than celebrate with his players.
