Great victory in the end, again was a bit worrying in the second half as we let them get a goal to give them a slight hope, but well finished off in the end with the goals from Faz and Turner. Disappointed I probably won't be at the Bedford game, but it will be another good FA Cup day I'm sure, possibly a similar crowd to the Cambridge game last year with a few away fans as well, think we can win as well :D

Just hope we see Faz keeping up this level of performance for the whole season now unlike last season, he's just so quick and so agile that he can be really difficult to play against sometimes and if both Dunks and Faz keep up this sort of level of performance we'll see a fair few goals from them this season.

Brownie

Cogenhoe drew 1-1 unless I fell asleep during the last 20 mins.
Lance Allen did not play and Cooks were very poor.

You must have dropped off Brownie as Wembley scored 52 in that last twenty mins .....

I believe the chant from the 4 or 5 travelling Wembley fans was 'Are you Bon Accord in disguise?' :D

I missed that game Trek but guess you may have been there. That was Jockball anyway so chant should have been "are you Hyde in disguise" though that was 10 goals fewer.

No such fun. 53 was the crowd...I counted them.
First half Cooks were very poor. Wembley scored early on,keeper was caught well off his line and they could have scored more but slowly Cooks got back into game and equalized midway in 2nd half.
Wembley were moved sideways into the S Mids Spartan league this season and are no better than the other lot we have played and thrashed. Cant see Cooks doing much this season.

Not a good day in FA Cup for UCL Prem teams losing to teams from other leagues.

At least we can play Bedford on the Saturday.

If I'm correct that was Bedford fc, being 2 clubs in Bedford! We are playing Bedford town Saturday ;)
That's unless you knew that and was just pointing out the result, then I'd look like a plonker   :D

Relying on the integrity of BBC, who state it was Bedford Town who lost 3-2 to KL (see FA Cup Results & Fixtures on BBC Text).

It was Bedford FC who lost to Kings Langley, rather than Bedford Town who we face on the weekend of the 30th.

No sides from Step 4 are entered in the Extra Preliminary Round.
