Hard to believe that they had such a long unbeaten run. Wellingborough look difficult to break down, but I suspect Spalding are different class.
I went to watch this game, I didn't see much quality from Deeping, but, they had 2 players who whinged for at least an hour, aimed at the officials and towards a couple of Doughboys players. It was rather tedious in the end. Wellingborough actually looked a composed team and played very well, deserving the win. It was like our win at Yaxley. They will be a sterner test than some people realise and will be fierce rivals for a couple of seasons to come.

Tough run coming up for them, 5 straight home games in the league, but they have to play Wellingborough and us obviously, as well as Deeping on Boxing Day as well.

The Tulips captain, Lee Canoville, has today left the club due to a 'knee' injury. That's £600 off the weekly budget.

It`s a new a novel way to run a side at this/any level, small squad of 15/16 players if you get injured and it looks like more than 3/4 weeks out it`s a P45 and the front door, and the Club goes shopping.

They'll be trying to break the UCL record for consecutive wins today, though I suspect the Doughboys will be easily one of the toughest games they've had all season, lets hope Turner gets a few more goals today against them

Reading twitter, it seems like they were pushed for once today, Wellingborough hit the bar, missed an open goal and generally it looks like it may have been a relatively even game. But the fact they managed to get through it to win again anyway, suggests that they are the real deal and right now, I can't see them not getting the title.
And their crowd for their amazing record breaking game, a huge 154
