I think that the role kingy was given yesterday he simply had to work hard, and fair play to the lad he did. Still too many little tricks and balls being lost too simply, but I'll give him credit for yesterday, he worked hard, as did Alfie who ran his socks off for the team.discodunk wrote:ill probabley get slatted for this but here goes.....I thought kingy was superb today, and possibley the difference between the 2 teams, massive desire to win, great engine, and a goal to boot ;),on recent form I would have him in over fazel any day........still a mixed up lad though who needs to sort his head out ;) ;) and thaks to crossy Tuesday night for stopping him going straight to the changing room ala wulfrinians, well done lads,a gritty performance and 3 points![]()
It was a really workmanlike performance yesterday - the attitude was spot on !! Anyone who has travelled on the team coach will know that the talk of moral issues by certain ex-players is bollocks - we've got a good bunch of lads who have shown over the past 4 games that they are willing to work hard for each other - long may it continue.
I'm very proud of the last two performances because they show what we're made of, neither game was pretty, but they demonstrated a "will not be beaten" attitude !! Can't wait to see them on home soil again Tuesday, seems like an age !!
