I'm not saying in any way that I want to see him leave the club but he's not as good as everyone thinks he is.
That's a massive assumption IMO. We can't have that attitude at any level we're at, it's arrogant. Alfie's scored 3 goals against higher level opposition this year and looked like a great partner for Dunks. Last season he showed he could do it without Dunks, his performances at the start of the season carried us when we had a weak squad. He deserves the plaudits IMO, it's been easy to forget about him with all the goals Dunks has scored.

That's fair enough but I'm sorry I just don't see it.
Not doubting his technical ability, has ability to be completely quiet for 60 minutes and then bend one in the top corner is there. Sometimes.
I don't think people should get carried away with any player at this level is what I mean, it's UCL, most half decent strikers from the level above or indeed any level around us would score an absolute bucket load in our side.
I don't want him to leave, he is a useful player. However he is on a contract and if K*ttering were in a position to take him out of that contract I really wouldn't be worried about finding a replacement.

Back on topic with Elliot Dent.
I have just been on Poppynet, probably the first time since RDFC went into liquidation but after their recent signings of our back-up players I thought i'd amuse myself with their renewed optimism.
One 'human' on there has asked how long it will be until we claim that "we didn't rate Elliot anyway" I'm not a member of Poppynet but I would like to reply on here as I know most of them have our forum on the top of their favourites list.
Quite simply it's not a case of not rating him, indeed most of us didn't get a chance to actually rate him. For whatever reason he was not deemed good enough for the first eleven. Congratulations in your signing of our squad player, hopefully he can produce the quality which we provided for Jake Newman to score plenty of goals, which you clearly lack.

Elliot was yesterday allowed to leave the Ploppies, not sure he made a start during his couple of months there, hopefully he will quickly find a new Club where he can get what i`m sure he wants, some regular football.

It appears that Nat is missing the D&D so much that he's signed for Wellingborough.
I hope he's as effective for them as he was for Long F*&^&*g Buckby when he played against us

He played on the wing a fair bit on Saturday. Which probably proves my point

He just loves playing us & catching up with all his friends at the club. Once New Year's Day game has gone presume he'll sign for one of the 2 teams we'd not have played by then, money on Harborough as Holbeach would be to far to travel. Only we have played Harborough haven't we so he will have to go to Holbeach won't he.
Could be strange on Boxing Day, possibly 4 wide men playing & they all started the season with us.

Hopefully as always did & will like him, sadly easily led & misguided. Took his goal well last week and showed some class with his celibration or lack of. Nat scoring against us doesn't bare thinking about, but hopefully it won't ever happen.
