Anyway it's water under the bridge now.
It should be but not for the Rude old one. :?
Anyway I am in negotiations with the coach company for prices for this game and you will all be notified via the correct channels. Hopefully they will get there a 2pm which was the plan for Dover.

M20 is a better route from Dartford. M2/A2 is pretty poor and the M2 not worthy of a motorway designation. Incidentally we used the M20 on the return journey. It wasn't necessary to stop at South Mimms after only 80 minutes of driving. If a stop was necessary due to driving rules then this should have been done after getting over the very busy and slow Dartford Crossing.
Anyway it's water under the bridge now.
Firstly it should say which route would you HAVE taken? You call me a fool, yet you haven't mastered basic English. Never mind eh.
I would have gone down the M 20 and yes I do it for a living. I can't afford to be late for my customers.
It seems you have a personal vendetta against me as is indicated by your snide regular comments. Typical cyber idiot.
As for it being water under the (Dartford) bridge. I have EVERY right to complain about a shocking service that I paid for. The whole point of me going by coachw as so I could enjoy pre match banter and a couple of pints before the game. I could have driven myself if I was going to miss out. The driver did NOT need a break before he got to Dover at all in reality, although I do appreciate that passengers may need the toilet.

Totally agree, any fool can moan but not many step forward saying they can do a better job.
Just for the record I'm no fool and yes I could certainly do a better job. If I was as incompetent I'd have been sacked many years ago.
So you don't like being called a fool and you correct peoples grammar. However your reference to "if I was as incompetent" I assume if directly accusing in of course your considered opinion those who give up hours of their time for the benefit of our Club so indirectly us as Members, of being so. Well fair enough opinions are always welcome, so for the record mine is please feel free to make your own way to the match, I however will be happy to use transport arranged by the club. See you there.
PS I trust I have made few if any grammatical errors, and I would point out the if no w on the end of coach.

This is the great thing about being a fan owned club, If you don't like the way the club is being run you can have your say at a members forum/AGM or if you can't make them, then you can use the vote you get to elect the board or even put yourself forward. A lot of hard work goes into the club for very little recognition. Very rarely does anybody write that the catering people are amazing or the stewards are great (which we are) the tannoy bloke is very informative or anything. What we do get is the burgers were a bit cold or the stewards aren't standing in the right place or the tannoy isn't loud enough!
If we feel the need to critique the club lets have positives and negatives rather than just negatives!
p.s i couldn't give a monkey about my grammar!

Fed up beyond belief - ANOTHER away draw ! Because of that I'll miss this one !! Hoping we either win or get a draw so I can see us beat them on the Tuesday after ;) !! Very disappointed by this though - unless I can drive from Bedford to there in under an hour??? Hmmmmm probably not eh? :(

Now seems a good time to mention that last Tuesday the tannoy in the terrace was almost inaudible. ;)

Or maybe now would be a good time to mention that we're so bloody lucky to have a football club and in the wider scheme of things a few mishaps on a coach trip, cold burgers, tannoy problems, the website isn't up to date quick enough, its wrong to hear of a player leaving on Twitter etc etc etc are whinging for whinging's sake !!
Our club was killed off and thanks to the sterling efforts of volunteers we have it back and frankly, I'm loving every minute of it.
It saddens me when the fantastic work of our volunteers is basically slagged off in this way. There will be mistakes made, they will be learnt from !! Things won't always go to plan, they will adapt and improve in future. There are ways of raising issues and improvements to the club, I would suggest that moaning about it on an unofficial open Internet Forum like this is not the most constructive way of doing so - having a word with one of the Board who are very accessible at matches, or emailing in suggestions/complaints is probably a far better way wouldn't you say?
We're in our infancy as a club and its being run by people who do day jobs, then a second job in any spare time they can get running a football club and dealing with all the administrative rubbish the UCL, FA and HMRC (the list goes on) throws at them, and at the same time trying to keep a work/work/family life balance. Its bloody hard work !!
Some of the things mentioned are petty beyond belief !! We're NOT a professional club !! But we are run incredibly professionally by people who deserve better than some of the rubbish thrown about sometimes !!
Sorry for the rant, I guess I'm still pi$$ed off at missing tomorrow's match and the next round of the Vase :( What I've said will probably upset a few, but I feel better for getting it off my chest and I stand by every word of it.
Pause for thought for a second and think about what you have, there is a hell of a lot to be positive about !!

Jeez Piggers, my comment was in jest, hence the winkface.

I know it was Raz, but just reading several comments on various threads and you'd think we had it really bad.
I just wanted to convey that if a fan has a problem with any aspect of this football club, speak to someone about it, running onto the Internet to undermine all the hard work done thus far isn't the way to do it IMO, it doesn't help and if you've had a long day at work, then done all the football related stuff as well, then missed half the game because you're doing match day duties, to suddenly read some of the trivial moans on here makes you think "why bother?"
Just think before you post and consider "could I put this view to someone at the club rather than bleat about it to the whole world on the Internet?" That way you'll get listened to and might get something done about it without upsetting people.
I'd had a bad day yesterday, I just read a few things at the wrong time and having been at the other end of the stick last season I just felt the guys n gals working so damn hard deserved some support rather than the continual moaning.

I don't think any criticism concerning supporters coach travel to Dover has been levelled at any individuals connected with our Club. Perhaps I wouldn't have any complaint like Brownie and Pigman if I'd left on the team coach that departed Rushden at 8am. ;)
My criticism is directed purely at the coach operator and their drivers which I know many fans who I spoke to on both coaches were unhappy with.
