Unfortunately it's the first home match this season, including friendlies, that I'll be missing. My lad's coming down from Newcastle to take me to watch the egg chasers of Leicester Tigers take on the Saints. I couldn't refuse. Will be thinking of all my mates at the Dog n' Duck. ;)burger monster wrote:

They both have losing to a couple of teams last weekend who jump above them in the league. I shall be watching as a neutral, however most rugby fans in my village seem to watch the Tigers. My lad has a couple of complimentary prime tickets courtesy of ESPN who are broadcasting the match live. The match was sold out over a month ago. I bet the burgers and beer are not a patch on the fare on offer at the Dog n' Duck. :(burger monster wrote: That should be a great game to watch, hope the saints prevail!!!!

Is Nathan Heycock still playing for Wellingborough, Haydn? Used to play with him for Wellingborough between 04-06, he was class and would run through brick walls. (Not literally ;) )
I played with Ryan Lee also, think they're the only two that made it to the first team from our group and judging by the FA's website they're both signed on.

Im going just to take the piss out of Haydn, Hopefully through a megaphone.

Watched Wellingborough get beaten by St. Ives.
Ives clearly a class apart from most, but didn't need to get out of first gear at all. Just a depressing place to be with about 7 home fans it seemed amongst the travelling support.
Real problems it appears.
