I agree, it was a dire game. I know it wasn't England's strongest lineup but I think the eleven that finished the season with us would have done much better, especially our back four - and that's saying something! The goalkeeper was decent, Danny Rose looked good in spells during the first half but was poor in the second, and no one else really stood out. Except maybe Andy Mangan because he was so bad. How the hell has he ever scored against us?! Max had a solid game in the holding midfield role (not his best position IMO). He was very disciplined and needlessly gave the ball away fewer times than any of his team mates. He also led the side really well, constantly talking to the rest of the team.
