All money, except credit card payments to John Souster, need to go in the Trust account.

I suggest we do not have a running total in the title to thread until such time as it reaches a sizeable amount say £10,000 as some people seeing a small amount, as at present, may be put off contributing.

I think we need to put this link up and an expernation on our current crisis on every football forum we can. Proper football fans will not want to see us go bust. If one person offerd to do each league it shouldn't take to long to get it done. I am more or less at work through to tomorrow evening but can fill any forums missed then. I should imagine we will even get a few donations from poppynet and the hotel end ! And while we are on there mention the twitter and Facebook acounts, it can only help.

I'm noticing that quite a few forums out there have actually mentioned it but obviously they won't know about the donations, so its our job to go to these forums tell them how they can help, which is what I'm doing now.

Might be worth 1 or 2 people taking to each forum for each club in certain leagues...

For example... 2 people take league one, 2 people take league two... etc. Word would soon get around.

I am cramming for an exam at 3pm, but when I get back I'll write on a few sites.

If anyone does do so, post below so we don't waste any time.

So far the only ones covered are, I believe:

Confforum
The Grassroots Forum
This forum

If you look at this site's announcements there is a thread which includes all of the club messageboards for our division. That is the best place to get to work, if anyone has free time this morning.

Got an uni exam at 3pm as well, but with all this going on its really difficult to concentrate on revision, I'm doing what I can for the club anyway, so far I've posted on

Weymouth
Watford
Leicester
Sports Interactive forums
The Student Room

And later on, will do many others.

I'm on the Notts Forrest forum now, pretty much just copy and pasted what you wrote Olly (Is that alright?) adding a bit about Dale as well.

First reply on Leicester's forum
Would the people of Rushden help save Corby town FC if they needed it? .. answer that and you'll have my answer.
Hardly the positive and helpful response I wanted, but we would help out another local club if needed it, surely?? I'd definitely donate if it was like that anyway.

If Corby were in serious trouble I'd imagine that a fair few Diamonds would donate.

Even if K*ttering were on the brink and actively seeking donations I'm sure they'd get some help from us too.

What is that posters point, anyway? That Leicester and Diamonds are rivals? That they don't want to help us because we might pose a threat to them in the future? Neither of these options are true.
