The players gave every thing tonight and a draw would have been a fair result.
Good to see Justin play a variation on 4-4-2 and it almost paid off - I don't expect to see this in the future, when with more players at his disposal, he will return to his beloved formation, but it was great to see some wing play tonight.

On a different note, I know the club has to maximise such games but it was annoying at times to be sitting with Luton fans in the North Stand - still better than losing the stand altogther as in last season's fixture so I suppose I shouldn't grumble..

Actually those clowns are likely the ones on the ticket system which we can't root out since we've got fans in the same areas and it would take a VERY long time to go through and cross reference with Luton's database (if they agreed to do so, but why should they?).

Luton fans were only given the AirWair. Had they known they were Luton fans, they would not have been sold tickets.

Yes MD, definitely some of them but the hospitality suite was open to Luton fans who took their seats at the start of each half.

Again, if they're on the system how can you tell?

As far as I'm aware, they are the only fans from other clubs that have got onto our ticketing system in large numbers (I'd also be will to bet that it may be the case with the Franchise as well), the main reason for that is a result of coming to the odd match over the years when Luton have been away.

I sympathise with you Dukes, but there is no real way to solve this. Remember that they've got onto the DeBanke before as well, so it isn't just the North Stand.

Anyone see Richard Money go and clap the Luton fans at the end, the way he walked across the pitch it appeared he had been anally fucked before the game!!!

The boys did really well tonight, Gash & Oshodi inparticular. Joe Day was also much improved from Saturday. I didn't think Luton were very good at all (yes i know it was a patched up side). Could have counted on one hand the amount of times Barnes-Homer touched the ball. Also good to see the hospitality being used, even if it was Luton fans. It improves the whole atmosphere weirdly.

I rate the guy as a footballer, but (i'm not just saying this because of the mistake tonight) i honestly think Huke is causing us more harm than good at centre back for two reasons. Firstly, he hoofs it everywhere and it is more often than not wildly inaccurate. Last season with Stuart we had a player that was confident in his own ability but wasn't afraid to hit a calculated long ball if needs be. Everytime Huke gets the ball under any amount of pressure it is just lashed up the pitch to the goalkeeper. I saw him do this at Wrexham, last Saturday and today. Secondly, the amount of headers he goes up for and mistimes is frightening.

There is definitely a quality player in there somewhere, JE just needs to find it!

Eddie was great last night, the best I've seen him play in a Diamonds' shirt. A draw would have been a fair result in a very entertaining game and it was good to see a decent crowd (even if Luton were very quiet!).
I can take losing like that; a silly mistake was our undoing but I couldn't question the work rate or commitment of every player out there. Well done lads, let's have more of the same on Saturday please :)

A small mention to the lads who interrupted our sing-a-long in the car as we were leaving - I haven't laughed like that for a long time! A hilarious end to a good evening

Pretty much echo what's already been said, we definately deserved something out of the game. We are lacking a certain quality going forwards though. From where I'm looking at it, we have a team that is "Jack of all trades, master of none", and I think this needs addressing in the close season because at times we don't look like we know how to beat teams. We certainly need two proper centre-halves, every time the ball is on Huke's left side he's all over the place.

also very pleased with the performance especially after Saturday ,I do agree that we have too many utility type players or players not in there best position but I think JE has no choice with the budget and loan restrictions. We are deperate for a commanding centre half although I thought Eddie was superb along with Power but many of the team put in there best performance for a long while and deserved more from the game ,is Miller injured?
