Has anyone got confirmation of the story? Nobody knows whether its even true or not, how often do these newspapers publish articles that are 100% true, and not massively exaggerated in any way?....

Don't always believe what you read in the papers ;)

words cant describe how much i agree with this statement :D

i personally am waiting for an official statement from dale, paul and/or the club. still clinging on to the hope that its all rubbish

If indeed this is true then surely PT will not ask for his contract to be renewed and take the decision out of JEMS hands. Dale is worth so much more than PT.

PLEASE STAY DALE - WE LOVE YOU don't let this scumbag win :x :x :x

Don't you just love the media.

If he wasn't a Terry, we never would have known about this story, I suppose thats the risk you take on when you sign someone who will be so highly scrutinised!

I feel it would be foolish to comment on the actions of indivuduals, based on a Newspaper article, but I'm just so annoyed right now! Will wait until the actual news, rather than basing personal assessments on exaggerated, uneducated garbage.

How did the paper get wind of the story? Raz, you seem somewhat in the know, any subtle hints? I feel terrible for Dale, imagine having something so personal splashed across the papers. :(

This story is true. Dale has admitted it himself, you can't make up a quote from someone (well you can but you'd get sued), trust me, i'm a journalist ;) .

It's fairly easy for a paper. Financial rewards are high, i bet there were loads of people calling them up.

It could be a player to be honest, whoever it was has just made themselves a tidy sum.

Let's all just calm down eh?

The dignified silence from all parties involved is the lead we should be following.

The last thing the club should do is comment in public about it.
