Not surprised. That bloke is all hot air. Ask anyone in the know from the Cambridge area, as I have, and you'll get the same answer.pitchero wrote:I can tell you that Mr Rolls has NOT satisfied the Conference Board as yet!

I don't personally know anyone from the Weymouth but as I'm born and bred from Cambridge I have more knowledge of the views of the United fans.Sara Pascoe wrote:And the Weymouth area...
Rolls hasn't been banned from the Abbey Stadium for no good reason. I believe they never got the full amount of money promised from the naming rights of the ground to the 'Trade Recruitment Stadium'.
The bloke is a grade A chancer and most connected with Cambridge United were pleased to see him leave and can't understand how he wormed his way to the position of Chairman.

Sounds like GR & KTFC are made for each other then Paul
I see the new K*ttering club are entering the NSYL next season, I also saw a story in the ET this week where a group of ex Ploppies fans have been following the FA cup rounds instead of going to NP.

That group was headed by Simon de Choisy (aka The Gob) long time KTFC fan, Radio Northampton reporter on Ploppies matches who was also finance director for DRC Locums and apparently had a big bust up with Ladak 18 months ago and is now persona non grata at Nene Park.Three of Diamonds wrote:I also saw a story in the ET this week where a group of ex Ploppies fans have been following the FA cup rounds instead of going to NP.

Christ, some of their fans are predicting a top 6 finish next season. Do they not realise that it took them two attempts to win that league with a full-time squad and heaps of cash?!

I see they're allowing Kelly and Verma to leave despite having the option to extend their contracts. They've also signed a player from Long Buckby.

I think they need to look in the direction of Steel Park to see how UCL players perform when they make the step up to the BSN. The odd one may cut the mustard and perhaps the guy from The Bucks falls into this category.BartonRaz wrote:They've also signed a player from Long Buckby.
Makes me smile when they go on about how good Marcus Kelly is when for the last couple of seasons with us he was very poor.
Re: Desperate measures.....
had the misfortune to see a lot of marcus this year at nene park ,he is a friend of my auntie, his heart was not there from xmas ,probabley because his mind was on a move to mansfield ;) very injury prone now and allways being played out of position he has also become a negative player, always passing back instead of looking for a killer ball forward,,,,,,,,,has lost his spark
