Shame to lose him, but I believe he lives close to Leighton and much more convenient for him playing in Southern league than Northern.

A sensible, balanced assessment, I don't hold anything against young players who leave, it's not easy for players dropping out of pro setups into non league, plus there are some so called agents in non league who are bad influences, I hope they all go on to develop and have good careers, let's face it in non league players often go full circle and in 10 years time when we are in Conference North a 32 year old Jay Williams could be a very good signing for usBrownie wrote: Tue Jun 13, 2023 1:10 pmI know his short spell at Diamonds wasn’t great but having watched him a lot over the past couple of seasons he’s certainly developed into a very good footballer, unfortunately he either can’t or won’t realise that every confrontation on the pitch doesn't require his involvement, it’s something he must address as he’s now targeted by teams and it sadly works. I think it’s 6 reds in 2 seasons which equalled about 15/20 missed games. Hopefully he’s learnt his lesson as IMO he can definitely go higher up the leagues.AFCRD_Dan wrote: Tue Jun 13, 2023 12:43 pmWill he have another sulk and leave if Brackley have a bad start like we did?!Drunken Debanker wrote: Mon Jun 12, 2023 6:47 pm Jay Williams signs for Brackley Town from Rivals Banbury!![]()
This could confuse some people and certainly worry someone who thought they’d stopped playing a few years ago as Faz to many is a certain Fazel Koriya.
More than likely to be looking closer to his home. Would have been a good squad member for game changing abilities
