Can't believe that Collard has gone to Bedford, has to be money or he is fed up with travelling, it would have been good if he had rejoined us but I suppose his wage was out of our league.

Right then with average att of 300 spalding harborough 175 coleshill where the hell are they getting money from when we need 25k for close season . The facilities must be making bumper profits…..

Why so much money being chucked around now to get promoted. Look at K*ttering admitted it’s too expensive in step 2 .Tamworth giving £25k across the whole squad for getting promotion £5k each for management, then putting ticket prices up for fans saying step 2 is expensive!!

Doesn’t seem to be any sense in it all anymore

owners with money pay for success, sign the best players on the most money, if only there had been an east Northamptonshire club which did that in the 90s/2000s it would have been great fun!

Nobody seems to have learnt from our experience.

You mean the experience of taking a lower non-league club into the 3rd tier of English football? Sure, it may not have ended well, but we had two unbelievable decades, and still have a club playing at the same sort of level we started at.

Not a former player but a former member of the coaching staff during the Andy Burgess era, a month ago I was reading that Guy Hadland has been battling cancer.

Well, guy tweeted a few days ago, he has won the battle and is cancer free. :drinks:
