Desperate measures.....
Re: Desperate measures.....
I drove past KTFC's old ground on the way to Corby last night, and was surprised to see a "Member of Blue Square North" sign prominently facing the road. I guess its been there since they were in that league before, but it might be seen as having tempted fate.....
Re: Desperate measures.....
I see they are now taking indirect payments by credit cards for Season Tickets - although apparently via a rather unconventional route, which may involve a third party - digidecor based in York (although digidecor seem to have have morphed from a Barnsley company "Visually Inspired Designs" that seems to have been replaced - as evidenced by the fact they've left references to that old company on their website).

Either way I'm sure the Poppies Fans will be familiar with the debate about issues with Section 75 protection in some circumstances - e.g. as discussed at http://www.choose.net/money/guide/featu ... claim.html

You must be very trusting to give money via anothers account when that account is not truly known and for something that cannot be issued as they do not own the club that the tickets relate too.
I wonder if the desperation to get this money is in fact to help payoff the sadact clan as it looks like they are holding out for something as otherwise the deal would have gone through instead 17 days have passed

I see the ploppies are running a competition to design a new badge for next season to celebrate their 140 year history.

They ought to go for a round badge, like we did. Something like the following would be quite apt ;)

Hilarious to see them slagging off the the Corby fans for vandalising the toilets, outrage on Ploppynet I see - funny they seen to have conveniently forgotten their own "fans" did exactly the same to the Airwair Stand toilets when we owned the ground ............... hurts when you have to pay the repair bill doesn't it? Karma is a bitch ain't it?

Interesting note about the credit card payments.
Its against the terms and conditions of most Merchant Banks which offer credit card processing to process transactions on behalf of someone else.
I would imagine if you brought a season ticket through a third party acting on behalf of K*ttering Town and you didn't end up getting your season ticket because the club went out of business you wouldn't be covered.
