Confirming a few more moves over the past couple of days:

Jamie Ashdown (Nov 2003 to Mar 2004 – 19 appearances)
(Portsmouth) joins Leeds United

Simon Evans (Jan 2011 to Apr 2011 – 7 appearances)
(Dorchester Town) joins Weymouth

Chris Hope (Aug 2006 to Apr 2009 – 152 appearances, 11 goals)
(St.Neots Town) joins AFC Rushden & Diamonds

Ben Nunn (Oct 2007 to Apr 2008 – 4 appearances)
(Chelmsford City) joins Boreham Wood

Aaron O’Connor (Aug 2009 to Apr 2011 – 84 appearances, 29 goals)
(Luton Town) joins Newport County

Not really 'former players', but Joe Yoffe (anyone remember him?) is on trial at Braintree, and James Harrison who played for our U18's last season was on the bench for Corby on Monday night against Stoke.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I understand that lewis Halford is now playing for Elgin in one of the Scottish leagues, personally i think he would be better off playing for us ( he would be watched by moore spectators)

Aaron O'Connor and Jefferson Louis have scored for Newport in the first game of the season.

Also Rankine has scored against Wolves at Molyneux in the League Cup!
