Someone on ploppynet has posted that 500 would be an excellent turn out for their fundraising game against Leicester tommorow night. Have expectations at the cuckoos nest really sunk so low. That, in my opinion, would be a pitiful turnout and a really poor reflection on the level of resignation being shown by the ploppynet faithful in general

Perfect, Telford and Lincoln win.

Newport have three games in hand on K*ttering, they could find themselves nine points from safety on Saturday evening.

As for getting 500 fans to a wanky friendly, they are in ****ing la la land.

I reckon the bottom four will finish in exactly the same positions as they are now in. Hayes really needed to beat Lincoln tonight. I expect Newport to get some points from the three games that they have in hand.

Newport don't have the best run-in.

Gateshead (H)
York (H)
Telford (H)
Kiddy (A)
York (A)
Darlington (H)
Alfreton (H)
Wrexham (H)
Barrow (A)

They do however have 6 out of those 9 games at home.

Yeah, yet another 'chance to show to show how much the fans care' game, that I'm sure the attendance they'll get will once again confirm that no they don't care, can't see them getting more than 250 tbh.

They should get around 750-900 fans for tonight as they have only 2 games to raise sufficient funds to pay off HMRC first 40 odd grand bill.

Any less than 500 turning up will be a kick in the balls to the Kettrin Trust and volunteers and they might as well chuck in the towel as they will struggle to raise the further funds to keep the club going.

I just wonder if the general Kettrin fans have now had enough of digging into their pockets as it does seem to be never ending requests for more money which disapears into a black whole of debt and no real light at the end of the tunnel.

will their money get to where it needs to go? we all know, sadly, this doesn't always happen.
