The Poppies "pay what you like" initiative has now morphed into a "pay £10 or more" initiative :o

I'm not sure many would see that as a bargain.

So since Mansfield and Wrexham have both simply crashed open the gates in recent years this means either one of two things.

Either this is a new rule, or Kettrin' fans are being instantly fobbed off by their new saviour.

There is no way this pay what you like is going to work, it ain't going to boost the attendance that much.

Surely they can't keep the telford fans at full price, yet the home fans can pay a minimum!! Their coffin is locking ever tighter :D

Can't charge away fans more than the home fans, as we found to our cost last season. Just ask Pigman.

So, let me get this straight.
They owe £425k or thereabouts and they're "dropping" the gate prices so people can pay what they like over that if they want to ? The Conference board must be bricking it . . .
:?

I have a suspicion someone smelt a rat, whether at the Conference Board or elsewhere - that it might be used as a VAT avoidance trick - get people to pay little for ticket prices (which incur VAT), then give generously to a donation bucket instead (no VAT) - and hence vetoed it. £10 is the price they'd already agreed (and charged) up until Christmas, so that wouldn't need any new ratification.

Sick of KTFC !!!

Supported through thick and thin in the past, but enough is enough - I'm off !!

25 years supporting, but I think its game over for me - there's just no enjoyment anymore.
