This will be a massive boost to the lads. Justin can use that to help kick on from now on.

The team has backbone for fightback Pigman the trouble is we are letting in to many sloppy goals.PigmanRDFC wrote:It'll feel like a win in the dressing room, thats the most important thing !! GREAT fightback for a team with no backbone or fight in it eh? ;)
The catalyst for a kickstarted season mehopes !!
We have shown so much quality in some games eg scum game 2nd half but we didn't win.I think we are guilty of trying to walk it in to many times.

Unbelievable Jeff
Worrying that we were 3-0 down, but i don't care. I have no idea where this sudden urge from the players came from, but hopefully it will carry on.
I take my hat off to Justin

Just got back.
The first half was totally appalling but i'm going to try not to dwell on it too much. Basically, Thorne is awful (Prosser isn't much better but i'll let him off for scoring) and Corcoran needs to stop masquerading as a midfielder. Hayes put 10 men behind the ball and then broke with pace. First goal just came totally out the blue, didn't necessarily see an error, the second was a mistake from Porter who's attempted crossfield pass was deflected straight into the path of Buchanan. He made a mess of it at first but scored at something like the 3rd attempt. It seemed totally inconceivable that the third goal would go in from the angle it did but nevertheless it ended up in the net, a deft flick from a cross.
Buchanan must have had about 5 touches all game. 3 of them were goals.
After that, Mills and Smith came on and the game completely changed.
They couldn't cope with Smith's pace (He could have had 3 or 4) and Mills won the ball back about 20 times and knocked it out wide to Osano and Day, ushering them forward at every opportunity. Smith's goals were decent finishes, the second one inparticular as the ball was hit at him with pace. Both goals scored from roughly 10 yards out. Prossers goal was a scramble from a corner scored in fronr of the away fans, and then the players and limited amount of away support went mental.
That is all, but if Smith and Mills don't start at the weekend then JE has gone mad.

We're not in a relegation fight...fact
Believe me now?
You lot panic far too easily - yes a bad run, but look at the teams below us, there is no way we fall into a relegation scrap.
Trust in JE.

Thanks for that report BRaz. Lets hope the new CB's will form a working relationship soon - just shows important Stuart was to us...
About time Smith got to play - it's been 3 seasons since his breakthrough but not allowed to establish a first team place.
And I repeat myself, bring back Robbo - can't understand why a quality LB at our level is out on loan and Day is not playing in midfield..?
But hey - what do I know...I'm not JE and he knows what he is doing.
Great figthback, bet the home fans were gutted..!

Charles Was one of the better players today god knows where you get you rinformation from and he was ripping there full back to pieces few times our defense is the worst ive seen for a long long time no communication or confidence the only good thing is sam smith scored 2 goals so hopefully they might start with o'connor smith and charles next gamePigmanRDFC wrote:Just spoken to Chris Barratt and he says we've totally dominated the game, but just haven't created chances, our supply to the front men has been woeful and Charles is having a mare apparently, Osano to blame for the first goal, Hayes have had 3 chances and scored 2, neither which were Day's fault.
Chris is still confident that we can get something here, he reckons Smith will come on and if he does, that he'll score, so I'll go with that assessment. Smith and Mills, 2 players I don't rate too highly to come on and change the game in our favour !!
That said, we're a results business and the owners must be wondering if Justin has what its takes to get us out of this. I personally don't want to see a change (yet!) but there will come a time when the reality of our situation will start to hit home, many managers have lost their jobs with better results, but not many have had to cope with the situation we've had recently, hence he gets my vote of confidence. He will turn it around, but we need some new blood in the team and some new ideas in the tactics dept.
