Our performances in the past four games have been like our pre November games. Non existent midfield sloppy goals conceded at crucial times failure to hold onto lead. A week or so ago I was hopeful we would make top three and thus a crucial home semi. Fortunately for us the other teams are getting nervous as well so we should get that 5th spot. 14 points from 7 games will do it. Regarding AB, he has yet to make his mark, his only change is that he brings on subs earlier. By the way I didn't say Tamworth deserved to win by 3 I said they should have scored 3 more, how many times did we clear of the line?

Err, not changed anything, well i would say playing 4-4-2 is a Major change which according to his interview that is how he prefers to play.

The bloke has been in charge for 4 games and already you are spouting rubbish like this. You can't seem to get your head round the fact Peaks chose to leave, we've lost the key player who got us into the play offs and Burgess has to try and get to grips with learning about the club on and off the pitch.sussexdiamond wrote: Sat Mar 19, 2022 5:48 pm Anything less than 4 points from our next two games will tell if Andy B has what it takes.
You've kindly given him 2 more games (so 6 in total) to prove himself. What total nonsense!
Some of your posts seem to suggest you want him to fail. In which case who do you wish to see come instead.....you'd previously suggested Maxwell from the U21 for goodness sake!

Honestly you lot. BartonRaz is the only poster I bother to read when I miss a game these days. You would’ve thought that the amount of live football you watch, you’d be a bit more clued up.

And got positive results in three of them. That is a decent start at any level.

What a ridiculous statement. Cast your mind back to the opening 3 months of the season, prior to Ty Deacon joining, and we were playing some dire football, losing half of our first 16 games. Burge has inherited the exact same team as Peaksy had then, and has made a decent start in his FOUR games to date.Ricky330 wrote: Sat Mar 19, 2022 6:03 pmhugely frustrating to surender a 2-0 lead to a very average Tamworth side☹ got to say Peaks wouldn't have let that slip.
I'm not saying Burgess is definitely the right man to take us forward, but f**king hell, give the bloke a chance.

Was happy to see a change in formation, probably a ploy to throw the opponents off who would have thought we'd stick with one up top. Tamworths league position doesn't reflect their performances on the pitch, as they were threatening on the attack and got themselves back level which is tough to do away from home. Regarding the midfield being poor and sloppy, I don't agree. Bell-toxtle has been solid (and was motm) and diamond has done a fantastic job in a position I doubt he's played in too much. 7 points from a possible 12 is a great start by AB and the defeat was against one of the early title favourites. Only player I'd like see more of is snelus, as the lad had literally had cameo roles and would have suited some opportunity in yesterday's formation. Also wonder if it would be a good idea for will jones to go out on loan till the end if the season, to gain more experience, especially as two forward players have been brought in recently. I remember it helped simeon Jackson, Lee tomlin and Sam Smith loads when they were loaned out and came back better players.

Seemingly not enough for some people on here and he has to do more to prove himself.SouthRushdenJFC wrote: Sun Mar 20, 2022 1:51 pm

What do some supporters of this club honestly expect. It makes cringeworthy reading sometimes!
