A few players who simply aren't good enough and certainly a management team that are not.

You can't say a management team is not good enough after a 19 game unbeaten run. I accept they are far from perfect but let's see what the reaction is like in the next game before making judgements like that

Absolute shambles that, honestly disgusted. You just cannot throw away a 2-0 lead at home, let alone then going to concede more! I can't think of a worse performance I've ever seen in football. I didn't think Kidsgrove were exceptional, but every time they attacked we crumbled! There was no attacking creativity and the substitutes were fairly questionable - there didn't look like there was a plan B in any way shape or form. 19 games unbeaten is quite an achievement but to lose it like that is pathetic. I've never been more tempted to leave a game before the final whistle.

What was that
How the hell does a team in the playoff zone and in a strong position go from 2-0 to lose 5-2 at home to a mid-table side, utterly bizarre and abysmal, 3 months since we last won at home in the league and in my 13 years of supporting Diamonds, I can't remember us ever conceding 5 at home.
I'm gonna take a positive note from Jon Dunham on twitter however, and say that wake up calls are never a bad thing, it was crap defeats in January that kick-started us in both our promotion seasons and we've been far too complacent at home for months now, not beating teams we should be beating, so I hope to see them determined to put it right on Tuesday against a team with a terrible away record.

Shocking, absolutely shocking. Comfortable and cruising at 2-0 and then we just stopped doing everything that a football team should do. No fight, passion, failed to win simple headers, individual errors, Tec. The list goes on! Can someone please explain the selection of Parsons to me, not deemed good enough a few months ago and released to be then back and into the starting line up! He is nowhere near good enough, we need a right back and we need a strike partner for Nabil. We also need Oulton back (I would even take him with one fit leg over that today). Poor from the management, poor from the players. I have been saying that the unbeaten run has been masking issues that we have, we need to get players in to get us back on track.

Poor performance and we got the beating we deserved. Still, no one can stay undefeated forever and after going 19 without losing (mainly based on resilience) in a new league I think we've done/are doing pretty well. I also think our management team are good enough despite today's capitulation from 2-0 up. It does happen, especially down at this level, and it's testament to the efforts and attitude of our management team that this kind of defeat is very, very rare for our club.

Very disappointing, but we all knew we'd lose eventually, but from 2-0 up I never saw that coming against a side I'd say were bang average at best! That said, they were very clinical in their finishing, but if you defend like that ......well, enough said !!
The starting lineup wasn't what I would have personally chosen, but I'm not manager for a reason - it's easy to pick a team from the sidelines eh?
Peaksy is an honest guy and I know he'll take responsibility for this, but so must some of the players who frankly let him (and us) down today!
One to draw a line under and move on as quickly as possible, I'm glad we have a game on Tuesday and do I ever want to see a response from the players !!
Its written in the stars, seasons when Sam scores, we get promoted

Exactly - he looked a class apart from us.
I don't think it was a particularly bad performance in some ways though. I didn't see that coming when we were two up.
Need to bounce back with a win on Tuesday.
Any news when Oulton & Ashton will be back?

After going a couple of goals up, I felt we were far too open at the back. I bet we would not had tactically played like that away from home. All credit to Kidsgrove, nevertheless, they didn't give up when trailing 2-0 and their players looked physically stronger than ours with excellent performances from their two strikers.
Not too much damage has been done to our position in the table and we now need to put this game behind us and give a real hiding to Rugby Town on Tuesday evening.
