This. Tom Lorraine isn't good enough, and I highly doubt Newman has improved as much as he'd have needed to in the last three years for me to give him any chance. We haven't had a finisher that's been good enough for our ambitions since Taylor and Dunkley.

As much as I like Alfie he should have scored 50 goals the first season, a great finisher he is not.

By that logic Newman should have got 80.

And both of them were playing Step 6 football then.

At least Newman has shown some ambition and tested himself at a higher level.

If he was a 'great finisher' he wouldn't be anywhere near the UCL. He is a indisputably a good finisher. As is Jake Newman.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

And League Info - Attendance 287 - the locals said about 200 away fans they thought.

Two things for sure, we'll play worse and win, we'll play much better teams than that. Hope we were unlucky with the officials & that's not a example of what we have to look forward to. The synical hack by the full back with the ball yards away deserved more than the yellow the player knew he was only likely to get, and the assault on Bunts was bloody appalling. Did anyone else notice the bizarre Lino on the dugout side after about 75 mins, the ball was played up the line and he flagged for a throw, the clown in the middle was looking the other way so dippy Mr Magoo puts his flag down. FFS an off side he can choose to ignore but if the bloody ball has gone out of play. I was hopeful with moving north beating AFC R&D would not be treated like a Cup final win, would appear not. Put our chances away & we stuff teams like Newcastle Town, don't & it could be a long season.
