If we are looking for a striker, how about Liam Canavan at K*********g. He was a menace last season but is not loved by Ploppies fans and may welcome a change at this stage of the season.

Not sure he has the personality needed to succeed at AFCR&D

David Kolodynski?

What a belter of a song that would be.

I almost made a post asking for suggestions on potential forwards and he's the one I had in mind. Canavan also is a good shout.

I see Brackley are struggling in Conference North, i've often wondered whether Sam Smith would be a realistic signing for us at this stage.

Last night showed how much Dan Quigley is missed. What a pity he had issues which meant Peaksie had to release him. I don't think Leslie is the answer.

I should say that I viewed Shawn Richards as excellent last night - one of the few who seemed to adapt well to the unpredictable bounce and was always fighting hard to set up moves.

Separately, I've never thought to myself before that 'filth' would be far too generous to describe passes / passages of play / defending of ours, but a couple of chaps in white shirts won that classification for their moments last night.

Certainly didn't deserve to lose, I just think Egham dealt with the conditions better than we did.

I think the main problem we have is that we have no pace in the defence. Plus we havent got a striker capable of scoring 30 goals, I would have preferred Lorraine to start over Liversedge.

I don't rate Ollie Wilkinson at all, someone near me shouted "If only the other players were on your wavelength, eh Ollie!" Can't say I disagreed with that comment, I lost count how many of his passes went wayward!!

On a positive note, I was impressed by Shawn Richards, just a shame no one could get on the end of some of his crosses.

Decent attendance of 443 for a Tuesday night before Christmas.

That was a real kick in the teeth - lots of good positions, and at one point the ball was about an inch off their goal-line, but we just can't seem to put the round thing into the big white thing at the moment! Good to see ELJ and Ashton around the club again, hopefully they'll both be back soon. Spare a thought for Tess (I think) who now has the job of getting all that kit clean though!

See the totally unbiased match report from Egg & Ham has Brendon mentioned in the headline, feel it may have been written by Deluded Brendon.
Not sure which game I watched but it wasn't one that had an even first have.
What a transformation from the very honest report from our previous match by CSP, but then they were a different class of people & Club only thing stopping them from a 10/10 was Ashington pies.
