What does it matter what foot he used? 7 goals in one game is some return, does that beat even George Best?

Given we played against Welly 2 2/3 times last season and again in per season recently and as good as Jake is he mustered 3 long range efforts in all that time, it is I presume safe to assume your comments are the latest attempt to provoke comments. The only other explanation I can think of is our defence was far to good for him, though given your previous desire to change some of them I doubt that is the case. I personally feel the strikers we have had in the past were indeed good in the league we were in, and ditto for our current ones. I also miss finishers like Justin Jackson, Duane Darby, Darren Collins, Adrian Foster and Onandi Lowe but sad as it may be, those mentioned above may like my list now be part of our`s and the old Clubs history.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Alfie, Jake and Dunks were fantastic strikers that clearly had the the upper hand on the majority of defenders they faced at UCL1/P. Not with my left foot I wouldn't.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:To be fair Brownie, you'd have got three of Jake's six last night. I'd have got two

Fantastic strikers for the UCL, probably not for any higher though, Jake scored bags of goals in his season here, but mainly because the defences were so weak, if anything he should have scored more that season I thought, he could be quite hit and miss at times and I wasn't surprised when he didn't last long with K*ttering in the SL. Alfie at his best could have done a job for us at SL level I think, but sadly he never managed to find the form he had in Division 1 for us, so was probably rightly let go, as was Dunks.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Alfie, Jake and Dunks were fantastic strikers that clearly had the the upper hand on the majority of defenders they faced at UCL1/P.
