Sadly it looks like the big day will be at our only away game out of the remaining fixtures.

Sileby is fine with me as I am away this week and next Saturday.

For those going to Wisbech v Holbeach on Monday it will be like attending a funeral.

Wow didn't see that coming. Glad I went to Desborough today (not often you can say that :D ). I know they have injury and suspension problems, both of which are worse after this game, but Wisbech were poor. 5-1 didn't flatter Desborough at all, they also hit the bar and the again impressive Wisbech keeper kept the score down with several decent saves.
Surely not much danger of us loosing it now.

Wisbech are billing as a top 4 clash, suggest they look at the table and revise. Good job the season isn't 70 games or it would be a relegation 6 pointer.

Top work from Desborough & Sileby this afternoon, huge well done to them. It's looking good for us, all those results like last Saturday's win over Deeping have proved crucial, the consistency of the lads has been fantastic, especially in the games when the performance wasn't first-rate.

Holbeach were completely unrecognisable today, and Sileby deserved the three points - Mark Byrne had his scoring boots back on - will have to watch out for him in ten days time.

With the attendance of 36 including 10 or so from Holbeach and a similar number of Diamonds fans / Doughboys / UCL officials, its great credit to those that do follow Sileby that they can all work as volunteers to keep the club going. I certainly wouldn't begrudge them a good payday when we go there.

The pitch was immaculate as ever - as was the ground in general.

I think you mean Michael Byrne.

Sileby are a strange one, I assume Darren Young is funding the playing budget but it is a mystery how they generate the income considering how protective they are of the piutch

I think they are prevented from using the pitch much more than they do by local noise / light / traffic restrictions (or any other restrictions the local residents can dream up).

Similar with Desborough. attendance 77, maybe 15 from Wisbech (although no one cheered when they scored their soft penalty), a few Diamonds fans and Desboroughs Youth ? team who presumably don't pay, so not an awful lot of income.
