It's almost a shame that Holbeach's drop in form has coincided with the angry midget's departure. To the casual onlooker it might seem like Drury was the one orchestrating their success on the pitch, rather than simply being the first rat to flee an already sinking ship.

Although if they need to finance that by ditching Duffy, I think that's a risky move. Anyway, clearly a lot is happening right now at Carter's Park, all appearing to stem from that Vase exit.
Anyway, it's in our hands now - if we keep pushing till the end it should be ours. Big next couple of gsmes, vital we put Huntingdon away this afternoon!
How much is Tidwell on? It's not only Duffy, I understand Dube's gone as has Kern Miller and Jake Gibson. Marty Nolan joined Spalding recently too,
The semi official rumour when he was at Spending was £425 a week and was on a contract till end of this season, the hold up in the move it was claimed by Holbeach was Spending wanting a payment for him & they were not willing to make one. Either way if he could have stayed at Spending for rest of season on a contract guess it`s safe to assume he hasn`t left for a large drop in money. He may be a goal machine on his day but he does need service and the way players are leaving there that may not be available to any level. Strange as to why Tidswell was even interested in going there unless they thought he could be the cat that ran around the deck stopping all the rats from jumping.

Chatting to one of Holbeach's committee last evening, it would appear that Drury walked away from the Tigers halfway through extra time in their KO Cup match against Rothwell.
He also said that nobody from Holbeach was aware that there were roadworks on the A1, approaching the Black Cat RAB, last Saturday. He had the team kit and left at 12.30pm believing he had sufficient time and arrived at Kempston 3 hours later when the score was 1-1! As a consequence Holbeach had to play in Kempston's away kit.
One way and another it seems that Holbeach are in free fall. Even Chand was not present at last night's match.

Dube's move to Grantham has been confirmed. Will they be able to put 11 out this week?

Tidswell tweeted "Farcical" and Clarke one day after saying they are going to crack on with what the management team instilled in them tweeted something needed to be sorted.

Apart for a bit of pressure early in the first half, when Lavin made two or three decent saves, Beeson, Clarke and Tidswell weren't at the races. In fact Tidswell's body language in the last 20 minutes looked poor and he spent time rubbing his right knee. Leo Adams had a good game for Ar Tarn in the centre of defence and their front young players were very bright and a vast improvement on Byrne's performance against us 10 days ago. All in all with all the recent departures Holbeach looked lightweight overall and no better than Huntingdon.

I'm almost beginning to feel sorry for Holbeach as a Club, the people there must either be very naive or extremely stupid, the former is often a result of misplaced trust the later in football at this level a side effect of greed. But they chose to chase the dream of a misguided Dwarf and as a nett result employ a large % of the Lincolnshire mersonaries. I'm sure the are as with all Clubs at this level a group of honest hard working people there but right now when thinking about Holbeach it's hard to do anything other than smile & laugh. I did predict they would finish 3rd, looks like I may have over estimated on that front. That said they could still reach the League Cup final (having not played a single team from the Prem) guess that should be our incentive to progress in said cup just for one final game against them & to hammer the final nail in their 2014/15 coffin.
