Let's puts last night's Holbeach win into perspective. Harrowby are probably the worse team in the division on current form. They've conceded 21 goals in their last four matches and last night's drubbing came off the back of a 5-0 thrashing at the weekend. Meanwhile the Tigers were probably a tad sore after their Vase exit.

Re: Tonights games 17th Feb
I think Yaxley will drop points, Wisbech and Holbeach are the real deal and won't drop many - my worry is whether or not we can put in a 12 match winning streak, which I think we'll have to!
Holbeach have Thurnby and Wisbech to play, those sides have the potential to take points - I can't see anyone else doing it.
Wisbech - well, they're rolling over everyone, so we'll have to beat them ! Do that and they'll be 4 points off us anyway (providing we keep winning).
Wisbech v Holbeach is massive !! A nice little 0-0 would do nicely - or a Wisbech win if we have already beaten them.
All that said, who saw the cogenhoe result coming, anything can happen this year - we just have to be focused and do all we can! If we win all 12 and lose the title to Holbeach I 'll be the first to say well done to them because that would have been a monumental effort - gutting all the same!
Exciting and nervy in same measure !!

Think Wisbech are going to have a big say in the run in. Seem to be beating teams for fun at the moment. They have a better goal difference than Holbech and have played the same amount of games. Going to be a huge game when they come down the Dog n Duck, well they are all huge games from now until the end of the season, think that will be the biggest gate of the season for the Wisbech game.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Me too H !!
The key is the old cliche of taking one game at a time - no point us looking at that Wisbech game as a deal breaker then losing or drawing to the likes of Desborough, or Sileby!
I agree with Dowlo, I'd love to see us hammer someone soon - we have the ability to and we're creating chances for fun, just need to take them. We've dished out our fair share of hammering a this year, but in the run-in it will be a massive boost to fans and players to do that, plus sending out a signal to those chasing us that they are going to have to go to the wire to wrestle the title away from us!!

The title may come down to goal difference so it,s vital to keep trying to bang in the goals, and not conceding to boost it up.

Interesting comment from a Ground Hopper on NLM forum:-
"Harrowby just couldn't handle the pace and movement of the visitors and were four down at the break. Holbeach weren't as obnoxious as they had been when I saw them against R&D a couple of weeks ago but they didn't need to be!"

Don't forget Holbeach have to play Thurnby twice, as well as Wisbech away.
If Holbeach come through that unscathed, as Pigman says, they will truly deserve to be Champions.
We are in for some very exciting times over the next couple of months.
The title is going to go to the wire!

Re: Tonights games 17th Feb
and also like Pigman says, we like them have to take one game at a time. All the other fixtures they have are must wins and I for one didn't think they would slip up to Cogenhoe but they did. They might avoid being beat again but I'm sure some teams will take a point off themsussexdiamond wrote:Don't forget Holbeach have to play Thurnby twice, as well as Wisbech away.

I agree with all above.
If need to focus on 1 game at a time (12 big games to go) focus on getting 3 points at Desborough to stretch are lead out even further. (Putting more pressure on the likes of Holbeach and Wisbech)

To put the 7 goals Holbeach got on Tue into perspective, was everyone aware of who played in goal for Harrowby, none other that Graham Drury's little nephew :o
Not sure how true it is but I did hear a whisper this week that Desborough have a keeper problem & Peaksy's Dad had been approached.
