The other main memory of that day was Sam and the PNS right sided striker almost getting cleaned out by the stray rocket from the adjacent house, came down with enough speed it was left stuck in the pitch. Only in Peterborough do the spend £20 of a f for big firework then let it off in daylight.

I'll have you know it's not just an age thing, Formic, it's also completely blind optimism!
No doubt this time next year when we're sitting in the Southern League I'll already be asking where the victory parade through Rushden will be! Looking forward to tuning in on Radio Diamonds for this one, shame I can't get there to watch it myself.

I remember us playing pretty well last time at PNS, I think we had a particularly good showing from our 2 wing pairs as well, yet only came away with a point disappointingly, to go up we have to win these games this season.

Getting a bit tasty here. Benches arguing and some heated conversation going on as the teams made their way off.
Not sure why Ling is in ahead of ELJ. Ling is indecisive at the byline and it's lead to a couple of wasted opportunities.
