I am currently working in the New Forest area and it has been tipping it down since around 8.00pm last night. Roads flooded everywhere. If this moves north I think the game will be in serious doubt. I hope not as I will be coming home for the match

Not what I wanted to see on the way to work this morning, river on way up, standing water on the fields and even areas of the A6 with standing water. Some more rain forecast between now and 3pm tomorrow but not much, though the damage may have been done yesterday. Don`t know what the Club would prefer, move it back a week and hopefully play on a half decent surface, or pull out all the stops and try and get it on tomorrow on a far from perfect pitch which could act as a great leveler which may help us.
Hopefully MH & DB are in the process of performing a minor miracle and all will be ok.

None of this sounds particularly promising - will be making a decision in the morning regarding travelling up, but looks like I'll need to act with caution!

It chucked it down in K*ttering for about 30 minutes a short while ago, and there is more forecast in the early hours.
I guess an early decision will be needed tomorrow to prevent St.Andrews having an unneccesary journey and incurring extra travel costs which would no doubt come out of the eventual takings.

Hope there aint many people who have booked train tickets in advance

Hope it goes ahead though. I can just see it being played on a Tuesday match. Just out of interest if most of the fixtures are called off will they still do the draw Monday as usual? I would think so but im sure someone can just clarify :D

I feel sorry for Wisbech, they're travelling to Ashington in a few hours and there's a good chance it could be called off tomorrow.
