Clean sheet, great stuff! Up to 8th, Wisbech in 7th lost tonight, 2 points ahead we've got 7 games in hand on them!

Funny little ground that, classic old non league ground, the shed behind the goal was cosy to say the least, was like watching the game out of a bunker! Not the most exciting of matches and not a brilliant performance but job well done in the end and the move for the second goal was superb. Not sure why we started with just Dunks up front though, was Taylor not fully fit or something?

Well, a good result against a dogged Desborough team. We played okay in patches, but, the game wasn't much of a classic. The move for the 2nd goal was the highlight and we deserved to win.
The weather was awful for football, although there was a decent crowd. 3 points it is, a bit worried that Alfie was on the bench and noticed that Wizz was not involved.

Pleased to get the 3 points in dire conditions. We defended well throughout but Desborough were awful and we were guilty of missing 3/4 great chances. 2-0 flatters them frankly.

Again thought the subs could/should have been made earlier and I feel a bit sorry for Lance. Two league games on the spin he's been given injury time to make an impression.

Watch the highlights for Starm's reasoning behind the formation switch.

Yeah I really think Lance deserves some starts, I'd hate to lose him because of a lack of playing time. Hopefully him and Gearing will get more playing time during this hectic next 6 or so weeks.

Yeah I'd be interested to know what the thinking is behind just putting him on for such a brief run out and again we could have done with bringing on Gearing a bit earlier.

Games like Sileby away next week would be a good opportunity for Lance I agree, though we've got some very tough games coming up, the run up to the Vase game in November is very tricky, with games against Cogenhoe and Huntingdon and PNS again as well.
