We've been really flat first half. No real good opportunities.

3-1 FT, last one sounded like a goaLOL.

Woodford lost 8-2 at home to Oadby today. Could be a massacre there in a couple of weeks.

On today's showing I doubt it, mucho kick up the arse needed, but 3 points are 3 points I suppose.

Saved our weakest performance so far for today, but fortunately it came against lowly opposition. Most of the possession in the first half without overly threatening the goal. Came out the traps in the second and stuck a couple away. Very quiet run outs for Dunks and Taylor, but solid performance from the back four. Comedy goal at the end from Lance Allen after the keeper put some backspin on his miss-kick giving him a run into an empty goal. Keeper did well for them though keeping a few out after he'd picked up an injury in the first half. Also wonder when we're going to get some decent refs instead of these Sunday league standard officials!

I appreciate that their minds might be on next weekend but some of our lads really did the bare minimum today. Players frequently just giving up on loose balls and some of them were almost at walking pace at times. On the plus side we've won the game and our defenders all played really well. Between Brown and Merrill for MOM.

When their goalie was having clear problems with his calf in the first half, I just imagined something similar to the 3rd goal happening, what a shocker, reminds me of that Simon Downer goal a few year ago

A win's a win, but it wasn't great today, fair play to Harborough, they defended well in the first half and we looked like perhaps we weren't expecting them to be so resilient. I can't say I was too worried at halftime despite the 0-0 scoreline, we weren't creating too much, but I knew we'd find a goal from somewhere and it was nice to get a bit of luck with a penalty for once. I suspect someone will come up with the usual 'if we play like that next Saturday...', but I think its fair to say our mentality will be very different against a Conference team 3 levels above us, we'll be far more up for it that's for sure.
