Shame for the young lad to concede a penalty on his debut, but he did ok although a little nervous. With other cup and league they priority we'll forget about our debut in this competition, although a potential match up with K*ttering has now gone
Think Scum lost to PNS 2-1 anyway

I'm going to be generous and suggest that our lot were still on a high from Saturday. Either that or it's written in to our groundshare agreement that we must not beat Wellingborough.

Yeah, no lost sleep over this one, though I was slightly more bothered by this competition as it of course could have given us the chance to play the certain team from up the road. They went out tonight as well anyway though.

That would've been a complete ball-ache for everyone concerned at both clubs (especially whichever one was at home). Glad it didn't happen.

It`s a little moment of glory for The Wellies, and we had made 8 changes from Saturday, Faz still didn`t look right, possibly not over what ever he had, and for some of those who had the chance to stake a claim, sorry but most of what went on last night was not good enough.
Still an exciting night for our landlords, and they were excited, I did suggest to one it may be a little different on Boxing day, he reminded me we have New Years Day as well, only thing I could say to that was "we may not be at full strength that day as very close to 3rd Round of FA Cup"

We'll let them have their moment, I'm sure we will get the right result when it matters.

Didn`t intend to upset anyone just stating facts, I`m sure they were very happy to beat us and good luck to them in the next round, but having listened to one of the Welly football oracles post match, advising that had Cambridge converted the 2nd pen it would have been minimum 4 or 5-1  and how technically they were far superior to us and showed that by dominating the last 15mins of the 1st half  wakey wakey please remind me who DOMINATED the first 25+ of said first half, oh and once the pen had been missed we got lucky  Felt like suggesting a look on the Cambridge forum as most of them came up with honest and fair comments suggesting we fully deserved our victory. When will "gracious" and simply thinks like "well done" ever reach parts of the NN post code area :?:

Is this not to do with all the tit for tat being posted on Twitter and sh*tbook!
Didn't go last night but apparently some fans can't accept defeat, like someone has said move on, the league is what really matters
