After Saturday's performance I would have Clarke on the bench and gilly on.
My 11 would be
Cross, merill, deakin, gilly, brown, whiz, liburd,, mcbride, dent, Taylor and dunks
All the best lads, I have faith!!!

King not in the squad because he's just back off holiday. Seems a bit ironic after the manager just came back off holiday, surely we would pick the best players available?

I understand the principle, but this isn't an ordinary game, and he's not an ordinary player. With another majorly influencial player now on holiday we're just handicapping ourselves further IMO.
I still think we'll win tonight, though. ;)

Of course not, but I just feel that its one rule for one player and another for the manager, its not like Kingy's going to be completely unfit, he played a number of pre-season matches, and he could still impact the game from the bench if he wasn't/isn't fully fit, like Alfie did on Saturday.

Obviously you can't blame them at this level, they're not on proper pro contracts or anything so they've got no obligation to play every game, but my god is it frustrating to have such quality players like King and Faz unavailable because of this, we really could have done with either or both on Saturday.

Our management team do make some right weird decisions some times with players and formations, but hay ho, got plenty of quality everywhere else.
I suspect King is not in the Squad as he has not trained and hence has no contact on tactics etc, plus probably a bit, er, lets say, holidayed out a bit
I suspect that they probably have an eye on Saturday TBH, and think like we do the team they are going to put out is good enough to do the job.
