Haydn was looking for a bit of banter once they'd got this match out of the way.

Still not -45 like Irchester! That's the thing with these levels, looking around the leagues at step 5 and below, there can quite regularly be a club or 2 that become the whipping boys of the division and there are so many big scores as well, my favourite from last season was Blackstones 1-11 Long Buckby
Found an even better one in the South West Peninsula league, Penzance after 15 games have lost them all and have managed to rack up a goal difference of -73

Good Morning, Good morning, good morning.
Yes indeed we lost 8-1 last night, it was a long long night, chucked it down with rain, had a fight with me umbrella, trying to keep it the right way, absolutley heart breaking to take a result like that.
I would never leave at half time even if my team was getting beat 25-0. My teams my team and you stick by them through thick and thin.
I love Wellingborough Town and we are in the biggest battle we have undertaken for a long long while.
We just need a win saturday to try to get our confidence back, whether that will happen on saturday is another matter, you guys yourself must be looking for a confidence booster to give your boys a lift.
No the burgers won,t be going up, lol, I will still be there, "CHIPS" will be on the menu, as will curry sauce and chips and cheesy chips for saturday.
I will try to accomadate as many as I can of you with food on saturday, look forward to seeing you down at the Dog N Duck saturday, lets hope it,s a great game and lets hope it,s a nice sunny day, and may the best team win on the day.
Take care all.
Haydn

Not to tempt fate but how's the pitch looking with all this heavy overnight rain? Must be in doubt if it continues.

Very wet at the moment trek, training ground under a lot of water, but weather not too bad for friday and saturday, so lets hope it drys up quickly to enable the game to be on.
Think we will be ok though mate.
