Is it just me that thinks it's just a really rubbish song and a bit cheesy. Please anything but a song with Diamonds in the title.. and before you ask what then, I couldn't tell you - but I thought Beautiful Day by U2 was an inspired choice of theme tune for MOTD, so obviously not that as it's been done, but something like that, that isn't so corny.

:lol: I can only blame/thank my mum for my atrocious taste in music ;) I'm a Matt Monro and Frank Sinatra fan, whay can I say? !! This song has long been a favourite of mine, I find it inspiring.

Well it's more preferable to Diamonds Are Forever, the Arctic Monkeys can't even save that one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5cJycxaGPs I was trying to think of something that would get the crowd going and I can see the players walking out just as the song proper kicks in at about 26 secs (although I've specifically chosen the instrumental version anyway) so you have a bit of a build up prior to that and I can envisage from about 53 secs on being a good clap along bit to get the crowd going.
