On that note (and I hope I'm not being naive here), I don't think we'll find it too hard to find friendly opponents this summer. As a fan-run club, who recently went out of business in a pretty public manner, I'd like to think that there would be a fair few decent sized teams willing to play us and help us out - AFC Wimbledon, for one, maybe.
I've exchanged a few e-mails with Oadby over the course of the season, and we will try to arrange a friendly at some point.

I've spoken to so many other clubs throughout the season, the vast majority of which are very interested in how we are getting on, and keen to play a friendly against us, even if it's just the U18s. So you're right, I'm sure we won't struggle for opponents!

Well the Eastern Counties League which under the new F.A proposals was to be split has lost its Sponsor Ridgeons, i feel the F.A may just ignore any complaints and reorganise anyhow and teams that cannot afford to compete in the new structure will be placed further down the pyramid.
