Was just about to post the same thing, players have been told the club has been liquidated apparently, 128 years of history gone, very sad
Edit: Well actually, it might not be over just yet, people on twitter saying a rescue group has turned up with £50k to meet the administrator to buy the club a bit more time, will be interesting to see the outcome of all this.

Very good report on their demise here:

Looked on Twitter and some are claiming they're not done yet.

I really feel for Darlo fans

I remember going to Feethams when we drew 2-2, around 02/02 time i think, Hally scored the equaliser anyway. It was a proper old style football ground with real character, similar to to Shrewsbury old ground.

50k been put forward by rescue group AFTER administrator had told the players he was winding the club up. Overseas fan also pledged £150k to keep the club going until the end of the month. Meetings continuing now according to SSN.

They've survived until the end of Jan.
Can't help but think they should have saved all that money for a phoenix club. Like others have said it's just delaying the inevitable.

Was thinking exactly the same, if the extra time bought does turn out to be beneficial for them then obviously fantastic, but if this does just delay the inevitable then the money put in today to just keep the club alive is a waste, so I really think they should accepted the end of the current club and looked at a new start, rather than put in such a large amount of cash in on the the off chance that they do find a buyer or investment as surely the long term future is very bleak for them.
