I went to watch Corby last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Really nice tidy little stadium, good atmosphere, and the best pre-season game i've seen so far. Both goals were excellent.

They've got Aynsley McDonald, Phil Gulliver and Andy Burgess, and have also signed Matt Rhead who gave us a torrid time for Eastwood last season.

I for one am going to get to some games there next season when I can. I too saw HT and also a lot of other faces i recognised from R&D.

I was going to go last evening, but not being a fan of pre-season friendlies I decided to give it a miss. I see they had an 890 crowd.

Having said that I'm am going to White Hart Lane to watch Spurs take on Athletic Bilbao on the 6th August in what should be a sell out 36,000 crowd. It's the only way I can get tickets to see Spurs live.

Whilst i will not set foot in Nene Park, I might add Corby to my list of football (and rugby) nomad games this coming season (Besides the midweek AFC U18 games). I am planning to get the diary and fixture lists (excluding BSP) out in the coming week.

The thought of some good old anti Kettrin Graverobber chants appeals more and more.

How about having a 'Diamonds in Exile' group on the Steel Park terrace, Sam? ;)

Wasn't there last night but I'm definitely going to do the same and go to a few of their games this year, not too far away from Corby and its always nice to watch football in a shiny new stadium, even if its Corby!
