I know some of where you are coming from - but I'll pass this on to the relevant internal team. We (Playfish) were acquired by EA last year..so we're still getting to grips with the internals etc.. Don't play any current console games, so can't comment on the issues, but will see what I get back.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Oh it looks so fantastic. It's a shame inevitably none of the game modes will work properly - and we will all be ripped off AGAIN....... <rest removed for brevity>

@Dazzler, I'm not directing any of this at you, I know you don't work directly for EA, Don't worry EA know how me and many consumers feel.

I am a PS3 man. Always have been.
Pro Evo is for men, Fifa is for Children, deal with it how you can.

Re: FIFA12 Player Impact Engine preview
I'd been a Pro Evo man since '98, back when it was ISS Pro International, but turned the dark side for FIFA 10 having played it a couple of times with mates. There were loads of extra features in FIFA that you didn't get with Pro Evo which were what drew me to it, but having played it for a while I soon discovered the ridiculous number of bugs, which are unacceptable for a game created by someone as big as EA Sports.
In all my years playing Pro, I never came across any major bugs and to be honest I can't remember any minor ones either.

I'm with ya man, much more realistic. Still playing the current one, trying to win the champions league with Blackpool!BartonRaz wrote:I am a PS3 man. Always have been.

Let's just hope the game isn't full of glitches and hacks like the last one. Disgrace of a game Fifa 11 was, but even more disgraceful how long EA took to fix them/ban perpetrators. Once is a mistake, twice is Pro Evo/Footy Manager time instead.

Of course the games going to be full of glitches and the servers are going to be disgraceful it's EA, but still FIFA 12 should be great. I liked FIFA 11 on the whole but how are we meant to appreciate it with it's problems.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Let's just hope the game isn't full of glitches and hacks like the last one.
