I have to say that Tommo seems to be handling the situation superbly at the moment. He's been asked in quite a few interviews about the speculation surrounding his future, and each time he has said he just wants to get his head down and do as well as he can for us. I have no doubt that he's desperate to play at as high a level as possible, but his attitude has shown great maturity, and a considerable amount of respect for the club, us supporters and his team mates. Now, if only he could cut out the stupid bookings for dissent I'd be tempted to say he's actually growing up at last!

I thought it was open constantly until it closes properly rather than having trading hours each day.

I thought the same when I first read that but thinking about it, for the transfer to be finalised it has to be registered with the FA and presumably they shut at 5pm each day.

I think the registration just has to be recieved in time and not neccessarily processed. Plus they always have the reporters outside grounds till midnight waiting for last min deals and the close of the window.

Not necessarily, a transfer could have gone through but not been officially announced yet. :(

Don't count your chickens! ;)

The ideal thing for KC and for Tommo at least is if more than one club were interested in signing him that way they would have more bargaining power. Of course if there are no clubs interested in him he will have to stay anyhow. :D

As I'm resigned to the fact that he's highly likely to go, I'd be delighted if he's still here for the 16th, we could really do with him then :)
