actually i think you are right piggers, i think they will survive, although how on earth they are going to make it work i'll never know, it needs someone with lots of money, i don't think Rolls has that.

@PigmanRDFC @bozzer

Kind of think you are both wrong. The club is on it's knee's, getting a little over 1000 home supporters to each league game when most of them are all on free/cheap tickets. You would think tonight would give you the true measure of the hardcore support you could expect. Yet only 500 turn up.

If I was an investor there tonight I'd run a mile. It was a night for their support to show how much they want to save the club, yet only 500 turn up. It's clear with the small amount of money raised to far most of their support is happy to watch the club die. Look at other clubs, darlo etc. They got 5000+ and have raised so much money in such a short space of time. I give it 2 weeks before it all ends.

Putting aside any negative opinion of Rolls based on his stewardship of Cambridge United and Weymouth, if he does eventually get involved with K*ttering, how the hell can any Ploppy fan ever trust him when for the last 6 weeks he's been saying that he's committed to Weymouth and media stories connecting him with KTFC are completely unfounded?
Seems to me that they are replacing one liar with another one!

I can remember an old adage a salesman once told me that .....

"buyers are liars".

I wonder if it will end up being true with the proposed buy out expected.

I see that the narrow minded ill-informed person who started this thread on Poppynet has been firmly put in his place by Malc Harris and endorsed by other more sensible and enlightened KTFC fans. ;)

So Joan has been refusing to take money from the Plopps, and has even helped them out on occasions?!

She's definitely gone down in my estimations! ;)

I am saddened that only 525 supporters made the effort for this very important game and would have hoped that whatever their personal misgivings they would have turned out for the players at least. Loyalty works both ways.
If the combined fans from the Poppies and Diamonds do not care sufficiently to keep this club and ground alive and non league football local, then I think the supporters only have themselves to blame.Does anyone know how much has been donated to the Supporters Trust this week so far before we admit total defeat? How can we find out?

Cheeky fecker !! WE have kept our club alive thanks and I don't give a gnats fart about YOUR club, why should I? Especially while its infecting our rightful home. Its not your community and its not your righful home !! Now go bust, go home, resurrect yourselves and play us next season in the UCL, I'll have a hell of a lot of respect for you if you do that !!

I'm really offended by that, it seems some Poppies fans simply haven't got the message! When has there ever been a combined effort from both sets of fans to keep afloat KTFC at Nene Park? Keeping them afloat has nothing to do with me. If they can't organise themselves then f*** them.

...and I seriously doubt any K*ttrin fan gave us a penny in our time of need.

No wonder only 500 turned up to the fundraising game. £6k isn't going to go along way is it?

Why don't they just admit they are dead and start over again? It's frankly embarrassing to see the situation still dragging on.

Seriously, are they hoping Rolls comes in? What and their supporters waste more money on a failed businessman, when they could be pumping it into a phoenix club?

They haven't got a clue have they?

At this rate they won't have a senior team until 2013/14 season at the earliest!
