I think that will be about it with Champions League on ITV and not much for the fighting fund by the time expenses, electricity, stewards costs are deducted.

Will Tomlin play, as its free ( voluntary donation so 1p) and in reality nothing would go to poppies or KC who would go and watch Tomlin if he plays?

Sorry I can't understand why anyone would want to enter Nene Park under any circumstances!
Other than to receive the ground back from KC, withh a £1million pounds pay off to run it maybe ;)

Would Tomlin really want to play? I think it's fair to say he didn't have a cracking relationship with Kettrin' fans.

He's an employee of Peterborough, surely if picked he'd have to play?

I'm not going back into that place ever! You're willing to go inside a stadium that now has K*ttering's name on it and KTFC in the seats?!

In reality, he's probably right but still, anything's worth a try and the game may be a last roll of the dice for them, the 'it won't make a difference' attitude its a useless and pathetic attitude to have, if I were a ploppy fan right now I'd be clutching onto any bit of hope however tiny and surely this is that tiny bit of hope
Though I notice someone thinks they're gonna get 2,000, which considering its a midweek game in February, Champions League on telly and the fact they've only got a few days to publicise the game is incredibly optimistic in my eyes (though in their situation I probably can't blame them for that). Sure, they've got a good high profile opponent on show but surely the woeful support of the last 2 home games with their problems well highlighted in the media (as opposed to the superb support Darlo have been getting being in the media spotlight) shows that the people of K*ttering just don't seem to care for their dying football club playing nearly 10 miles outside of K*ttering and unless they have a huge campaign over the next couple of days trying to get as many people to it as possible, I can't see them getting 1000 let alone 2000!

Considering the game is so totally meaningless and they've got a Championship game the previous night, I wouldn't expect to see any of the main first team players despite what it says on the KTFC website.

The parallels with our demise continue ...
Barry Fry brought a Posh team to Nene Park in February 2011, where they played a Diamonds "reserve" side in the main stadium in a "behind closed doors" game to help players from both sides to get match fit after the poor weather.
We had Kevin Gallen guesting for our side, after he had recently been released by Luton, as well as the likes of Max York making a rare appearance on the Nene Park pitch.
<< Edit >> - So much for that theory, they are now playing Coventry instead.

No chance of that being a full Cov team, they're injury ravaged before tomorrow night's match never mind another the next day.

I think the 7pm kick-off time is a pretty good clue that they will be sending what is primarily a youth team.
