I know what you mean.
Have you seen the sticky about legal action being threatened because of possible libel stuff, then just below is the "Ladak out" petition?

Then all of the posters telling Ladak to FRO are now singing his praises

I think you will find that rent was pre-paid for a considerably longer period than 9 month
Heard it was 2 years. I see they're convincing themselves to have a go at running NP themselves, they have no idea what they're getting into do they after all our warnings ?
Here ya go

Good business, getting people to pay for the same thing twice - maybe there will be a shareout when they come into profit eh? Its like a time machine and I've been taken back to last year, for Thorn read KC, for Ladick, read Beasant(s). I can't believe they'll fall for it ................will they?? £40k needed by end of Feb, what about March? April? May? Still, we knew what it'd be, no surprises, hope they don't give up on their phoenix planning, for their sakes !

£40k in 25 days, I think that can be done easily, especially with the good will from non-league fans like Wrexham's etc.

£40k is definately achievable if all pull together - but Ladick staying is likely to split the support. The man is hanging on for a reason - still, its their problem eh? £40k this month to keep the woof from the door as Thorn said - what about next month, the month after etc? Hos sustainable is that? Guess we'll see.

40K is just the start.

Also this made me chortle.
Basically if new investors dont come in we'll be supporting a team with a southern league budget whilst playing at a football league facility

you can't run a conf side on next to nothing. players wont play for nothing and they've the added hassle of running np.
if they survive, it'll be down the pyramid.

So much for them getting any answers tonight - seems to me that there is as much confusion as ever and even more questions to be (un)answered. Can't believe the crux of the meeting was for them to continue at NP with IL on board and for the fans to have to stump up more cash and help to keep the club afloat. Surely that's the last thing they would have wanted to hear.

I'm trying to read between the lines. They say they need £40k by the end of February and as the terms of the conference hearing judgement was that all "Football Creditors" need to be paid by the 28th Feb then I would guess that this £40k will cover the outstanding wages and payments due to other clubs.

Even if we assume that the £35k to HMRC is paid in full and we assume the £40k to football creditors is somehow paid this month, that still leaves £225k outstanding at least if you take the figure of £300k of total debt they have quoted. That must leave quite a few people owed an awful lot of money who still aren't going to be getting paid whilst they are running around trying to pay HMRC and the Football Creditors.

If other creditors see HMRC getting paid after issuing a winding up petition how long will it be before someone else decides to take the same route?

I have to say, I've just realised how sad I'll be if NP ends up torn down after the covenant runs out.
