It just gets more and more ridiculous doesn't it. What a joke that man is, unbelievable

I'm just wondering how many more nails in the coffin they're gonna take, probably not many more with the date with hmrc fast approaching.

Friday's going to be interesting!

On an unrelated desperate note: Northampton have signed Clarke Carlisle until the end of the season. They're definitely staying up.

Gets stranger and stranger down at Nene Park, a Forum is called to galavnise the support to pay off the HMRC bill of £35 grand by Lee Thorn who must have more money that all the supporters who will turn up, If i was a ploppy supporter i would be wary of a fairly rich guy letting you bail out Sadact.

Also who in their right mind would now invest in a team thats just started legal proceedings which will last a long time with unknown costs at the end win or lose.

IL has now instructed his solicitors to start legal proceedings against DRC for money owed before the business was sold. Just 3 working days to go.

Assuming some / most of the Poppies players took the advice of Colin Peake to give 14-days notice due to breach of contract so that they were free agents before the transfer deadline last night, the Poppies will have an interesting challenge to field a side on Saturday. I guess they can sign those players on non-contract terms on a game-by-game basis, but they would have more issues with payment and questions over insurance etc.

New potential investors according to ET, sounds like the return of the "Japanese Property Developers" to me, yet another stalling tactic.

Starting legal proceedings against DRC to recover money ? - What, 4 days before the winding up order and nearly 11 months after DRC terminated the contract and 6 months after they reiterated their postition that no money was owed. More stalling me thinks.

This is all still smoke and mirrors because even if the full £198000 was paid in full, immediately, I don't think it would cover all their debts. It would probably buy them some time and get them through to the end of the season. They owe £35k to HRMC, £4k to Southend Manor, a months wages to players and staff £??k, one company whose services they use I know are owed in excess of £17.5k, + goodness what other local firms. £200k isn't going to go very far considering they have very little revenue coming in.

As with KC, Beasants, NP I firmly believe that there is plenty going on that none of us or the plops are ever likely to know about.

Now, IAL Consultancy Ltd set up by Ladak in October just as things started to hit the fan. Ladak himself and his wife as directors, registered address is a residential address in MK (presumably his home), the company has no obvious phone number listed, not listed in Yellow Pages and has no obvious web presence therefore I assume he is relying on his existing contacts for work. I wonder who the clients of IAL Consultancy are and what services they will be paying for?

Perhaps he is going back to do some work for his old friends at DRC.

This made me laugh, they really do care about their club,

"Buses to Nene Park

As you know the Poppies Trust have been running buses to Nene Park for the Saturday games.
Sadly these are becoming severely under used, for the Bath game we had 40 passengers and for the last game against Lincoln we had just 27. Even if we’d charged £5 we would still have lost money.
The bus topic will be discussed at the next Trust meeting this week, but we cannot go on losing money, I will push to run the bus for the Telford game, however, if it is under used the service will stop. Please make an effort to use the bus; this is a valuable service for some Poppies fans that would be scuppered without it."
