And since it was mentioned, today was absolutely mental! I'm still buzzing and I didn't care who won the title!

Re: Former Players
I think that was his third goal this season.
It wasn't just a simple tap in, as the only reason he had an open goal was because the keeper couldn't hold his original shot. But yeah, he didn't exactly set the league on fire. You never know though, Lambert might want to keep him on as an impact sub. He's come up the divisions fairly quickly and is still only 25.

It won't matter what Lambert will want to do. He'll go to Villa. Steve Bruce next up at Norwich, I reckon.Rankine's Nose wrote:I think that was his third goal this season.

Re: Former Players
Going by some Norwich fans comments, his performances have been relatively good, but he hasn't been getting bucketfuls of goals. He stretches the defence with his pace, and drifts into the channels effectively, which is something that leaves space for people like Holt.Rankine's Nose wrote:I think that was his third goal this season.

Arsenal couldn't handle his pace when we played them - just struggle with any end product, really.olio wrote:Going by some Norwich fans comments, his performances have been relatively good, but he hasn't been getting bucketfuls of goals. Despite his valuable goals on the Canaries run-in to the Championship last season, I quickly formed the impression at the start of this season that Lambert didn't fancy him as a starter in the Premiership. I was very disappointed to see him languishing on the bench with the occasional cameo appearance as a late substitute.
Like Jermaine Defoe at Spurs, Simeon isn't likely to find the net on a regular basis with these fleeting opportunities and perhaps it would be better for his career if he was to drop into the Championship with a club who would be more inclined to give him a starting berth.
