Piggers I appreciate about the racism aspect. Whilst in my eyes that isn't racism i fully accept that to the next person it could be seen that way.

And as for the person that threw the bottle, banning them is fine with me, we don't want to see that, but it could have been worse.

I guess the point i'm trying to make is that people appear to be very keen to point out all the wrongdoings of their fellow fans, telling them what they should and shouldn't chant, when in reality they've probably spent the last 5-10 years amongst these people without batting an eyelid.
It's PC gone mad................no really it is 8-)

I am seriously at the point of packing it all in, I have spend the last 14 moths of my life trying to give the fans their football club back, they do not realise what shit we have had to go through just to do that.........................i have defended our club against all the knockers, gone to supporters direct meetings at all different places in the UK, have spend the last three days, helping to put things in place so that people can enjoy a football match, my wife has given me shit, about spending more time at the D&D that at home, and I'll tell you what...............I do it because I want to see AFCR&D play, I don't care if some one get;s upset about a famer showing his arse.......................really, is that all we can get upset about, this time last year, you never had a club 8-)

I don't think it's that fair to criticise our fans, he was the one trying to provoke by running up and down and baring his arse. He probably would've been kicked out of any FL ground if he'd tried something similar. Surely it's obvious that if you act like a dick in front of opposition supporters, they'll treat you like a dick?

(Before I get jumped on I don't want to disrespect any of the volunteers, who I know are extremely hard-working and put in huge amounts of effort for the club)

I've never seen our fans (home or away) over the years actually try and cause trouble and I know I never will. Maybe everyone could be more restrained in the future but he was really annoying, he was the one who started it and was quite hard to ignore when he was getting in way of many fans' views of the pitch.

I'll second that. It's well worth the money - especially when you compare what we got for our £2 at Wootton.

On a separate note, I thought the attendance was very good for a cup game -especially when you note that R&DFC only managed 374, 539 and 601 home fans in their final three home FA Trophy games.

The club shop looked good too. I notice there is a doughboys club shop near Dale's Bar - is that to continue given there is WTFC stuff in the new shop?

Since i posted last on my views on today and read all the posts since i think that this may have bubbled over into something that we aint talking about. Im not sure i remember the singers getting criticised in anyway, my main point was the object thrown and thats it. Had the little boy not have thrown it then the main point of this debate would just be the plank from fakenham.

I am a spring chicken myself, and as a groundhopper in my early days i have been to 60odd of the football league grounds. I have seen and heard everything. from offensive chants, to going to millwall v wolves and seeing so called fans between each club singling each other out and doing slit throat signals with you me outside after the game etc... It will get magnified in the ucl because teams are not used to having an atmosphere. But the people that are saying about it being a church i fully agree, but that dont mean the line has to be crossed in the process...

What I am merely saying is we are all in the same boat here, and dont want a passenger causing mischief amongst passengers and crew if you get my drift. You are all doing a cracking job behind the scenes, Having a browse in dales bar shows that.

As i did not go to wooton i am unsure on what chant was defined as racist, but there will be a difference between the singers views and my/others on whats racist, whats not etc. For the last few years was the imraans wife one racist? :D

Im sure this bottle incident will be brushed under the carpet, but hope that should a volunteer steward see this again then action would be taken...

And diamond wolf, I seem to remember being one club one community...Im sure the community would love to join in a jack chant, instead of only 5 of you singing
