You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

I know, I've enjoyed their misfortunes all season but I do feel sympathy for them today, its just astonishingly bad there and very sad that not only could they not protest but they also couldn't pay their respects either, shocking how Sadact's let it come to this, couldn't even be bothered to put the covers on :roll:therushden wrote:i never thought for one minute they'd end up in this much sh!t.

Feel awful for the family and friends of that lad who I believe had arranged something for today.
The fact there was meant to be a protest against Ladak today makes it seem so deliberate. Apparently the frost covers were there at the side of the pitch but weren't put on? Ridiculous.

Looking at Poppynet, I don’t think they’ve realised the implications of Colin Peake’s comments – in fact I’m not sure they realise who he is. In particular his comment :PigmanRDFC wrote:Well, if they wanted to upset someone who could cause them mahoosive problems he's possibly THE person they could have chosen !! “The matter needs resolving because, one way or another, as Mark responded to a question from BBC Radio Northampton "within two weeks the club would be unable to fulfill fixtures". That seems to be an indication that those contracted players still at the club must within 14 days give notice of termination, otherwise they will be unable to play at this level or above for the remainder of the season, once the window closes. They have to be out of contract before 31st January to enable them to sign for another club at our level.”
The seems to me to mean that the takeover needs to be completed before the next game.
The existing players have been through a lot, and they have to ensure that they can sign for another club if KTFC does stop playing games between now and the end of the season, so it’s pretty likely they will all give notice soon (and may have done so already) - and then become "football creditors". Couple that with the rules on the maximum number of loan players and it could mean the club would be unable to fulfil its fixtures by the end of the month at the latest - regardless of whether they've done everything possible to get a game on, by ensuring their frost covers are in place ....
