I know this is a thread to mock K*ttrin but look at Wobblers, they've collapsed at home in the last 10 minutes again, 2-2 at 80 minutes, 2-5 at 90, do they just go home at 80 minutes? And Plymouth won :lol:

I know at least they've had a team to watch on Saturdays unlike us, but still, those 2 have provided so much entertainment this season

I'm delighted for Mr Ladick, he won't be forced to sit through the red card protest (doubt he'd have been there anyway) and may even have his investors in place by the time of the next game so will be able to pay "some" wages and retain his current manager.................they didn't water the pitch last night did they? ;)

It certainly illustrates what a shambles it is at Nene Park - and there even seems a complete lack of leadership amongst the fans, who clearly needed someone to step forwards and organise some volunteers to put the covers on - (even if they couldn't organise someone to call a local referee to arrange an earlier inspection).

Given the FGR team and fans were at the ground by the time it was called off they won't be happy - and given that Colin Peake is their secretary it won't have gone unnoticed at Conference Board level.

I think this sums up the problem with the Ploppies fan base, and contrasts with the excellent rallying around that you organised, Tony back in early May. OK the financial problem was so severe and the Club couldn't be saved within the 2-3 week time scale that we faced.
I know the guy who is acting as stadium manager, and he is a well respected businessman and longtime KTFC sponsor and fan and am surprised that efforts weren't made to mobilise the troops given the well publicised frost prediction. I can only assume they have lost the will to assist their club given IL's stance.

I'd say that's an accurate assessment Paul, once again someone holds the purse strings and is messing their club up. They've been tottering on the edge of oblivion for years now and even got helped out by the generous Max buying their players at over-inflated prices, better to kill it and be done with it, now it's gone from their community altogether. They could then re-take their own club, and move forwards with that.

"Rest assured the Football Conference will have a serious complaint from us with regards to the way we as a club and our supporters have been treated today.

I personally have the utmost respect for Bob Brown, who as a volunteer has been keeping the club going, almost single handedly, in the most trying of circumstances and no blame can be attached to him or other like minded individuals. Full credit to him and them. Even Mark Cooper admitted it had come to something when a once proud club could not even put the covers on (which were alongside the pitch) to protect the match. In real terms the pitch was not that bad and top marks to whoever has been looking after it. Unfortunately as again Mark stated in a radio interview this simple task is indicative of how low the club has sunk.

The matter needs resolving because, one way or another, as Mark responded to a question from BBC Radio Northampton "within two weeks the club would be unable to fulfill fixtures". That seems to be an indication that those contracted players still at the club must within 14 days give notice of termination, otherwise they will be unable to play at this level or above for the remainder of the season, once the window closes. They have to be out of contract before 31st January to enable them to sign for another club at our level.

I was also saddened to see so many young supporters of KTFC, wearing appropriately branded shirts, being unable to pay respects to Ryan and Lottie. It is a shame they were denied that opportunity and it should have been so simple in a professional league for them to have completed this act of respect.

It would be wrong of me to comment further about their opportunity to make further protest, so I will not, only to point out that the club lost valuable income and whoever paid for the "Red Cards" also lost out, as many including Mark Cooper felt they may not get the chance again.

On behalf of FGR FC, may I apologise to all our fans who will have lost money in attending a match, which should so easily have been played. I too found it amazing that the match referee only turned up less than two hours before kick off. Again no more to be said publicly on that due to it being contained in a report to the Conference. I shall discuss this further behind closed doors and announce any outcome asap."
