Re: Desperate measures.....
I reckon interim assessment of debts are always understated. Was £250k a few weeks back, then over £400k a week ago, now £1.3m and if a administration or liquidation happened and a full and proper analysis of the accounts put in place then probably over £2.0m.luckyfour wrote:ET says this morning that there are £1.3 million debts ......
Re: Desperate measures.....
The jump from £250K to £1.3M must be the Sadact Clans loans to the Club which it seems they want back.
It seems a game of brinkmanship is going on with Sadact playing his favourie game 'Poker' with Kettrin in the pot.

Yep, the way I read this is that Ladak has tried to hold out for more money or didn't reveal the full extent of the proceedings initiated by HMRC to the consortium.Biggles wrote:The jump from £250K to £1.3M must be the Sadact Clans loans to the Club which it seems they want back.

The consortium is now playing him at his own game and calling his bluff publicly in the press and saying bollocks to him, we'll wait until the club goes into admin even if it does mean dropping down a league or two. Just part of the negotiating game.
Re: Desperate measures.....
Even if the club goes into administration Sadact still holds the best hand as he will be main creditor and can dictate the amount all non Football creditors receive which under Conference rules must be paid over 3 years.
It will all depend on how much the Consortium really want to save the Club and how low in the Leagues they would be willing to restart next season.

Simple, I both know and have had past business dealings with both of the people you mention.
It would however not surprise me in the least if, together with one other familier name with an "RDFC past", both were members of this consortium now planning to take control of KTFC.

Actually no. The name I had in mind was Gary Calder

I did think of him when the Rolls/Hill rumour was mentioned. Calder, IIRC, has never brought money to the table in the previous clubs that he has been involved with.
