I think what he means is that our situation was known about prior to the AGM and discussions were ongoing behind the scenes, I mean lets be honest, it was a done deal when the AGM came around wasn't it? All the talking had been done beforehand, we weren't even allowed to speak at the AGM were we? I'm sure they're talking about more than the Ploppies too, there are a few clubs in the financial doodoo at the moment - if Wrexham win the BSP are they guaranteed taking their place in the FL for example? Or will their well known financial problems be swept under the carpet?

Yes - I was referring to those discussions, but also to their much earlier decision to take the England C game away from Nene Park which was made when we were technically still a going concern, albeit with a winding up petition looming.

To which this statement from their Trust will probably move forward a decision from the Conference Board or force Ladak to act one way or another ;-
"New Club - Despite the above issue with our constitution, i have been discussing the prospect of bringing football back to K*ttering since early November. This has been via a body of people who were already working on collating the necessary information. Discussions are on-going with various parties as we seek the best way forward to start a new football club. The major factor for this club is it will be the Community Project that was envisaged in the Vision Document of last year - and not owned by one individual. Ideally KTFC can be saved, but if not there is a Plan B being worked on."

Think we might have been, but am I right in thinking no-one turned up because Liam Beasant was getting married that day?

I'm pretty sure that KC and HT told us we were represented by a certain Mr Ladak at that meeting...

We were certainly told that he spoke up for us, I think KC had requested the opportunity to speak at the AGM because he was trying to broker a deal with our Japanese friends, but was refused the right to as he had no official right to be there - then they said they wanted a load of dosh from him upfront........or some other old pile of bullshite - I don't believe any of it and if Ladick did speak up for us it was all part of the charm offensive !! So little time, so many lies !!

If Wrexham do get promoted to League Two... I seem to remember at the big meeting at Nene Park with KC, him saying we would have got a "shit load" of money had we been promoted, that year we got to the play offs... so I would think it would certainly ease Wrexham's financial problems.

I think the Conference needs to look at the K*ttering situation before this weekend, given there is a danger they won't be able to field a side. If they do persuade their three non-contract players to remain at the club, without being paid, what is to stop one of K*ttering's upcoming opponents making them a similar non-contract offer, but with a promise of appearance money - and thus leave the Poppies with less than 11 men to field against them, as they can't register new players, even from their youth set-up.
The Poppies fans have been wondering how to get their plight publicised - I'd have thought that starting a game with less than 11 men would get them national publicity.
